Purpose:
|
An isolated rupture of the anterior capsule of crystalline lens after ocular blunt trauma is rarely reported in the literature and its detection before surgical intervention for traumatic cataract is critical.
|
|
Methods:
|
We describe a 21 year old man with ocular bunt trauma with fist attended to our eye emergency department.Also there is a review of literature.
|
|
Results:
|
The only ophthalmic examination finding was a circular lens anterior capsule rupture without any other abnormalities. One week after trauma, lens aspiration and intraocular lens implantation was performed for him.
|

Conclusion:
|
We report this interesting case with a detailed literature review.
