Purpose:
|
To report a case of traumatic (acquired )horner syndrome with heterochromia.
|

Methods:

Results:
|
The patient was a 25 years old man with a history of penetrating trauma to right of side neck at the level of subclavian artery .
I examined the patient 8 months after trauma and the positive findings were 1-2 mm upper lid ptosis, miosis at dim light and lighter iris color at the right side. Anhydrosis was not evaluable.

Conclusion:

Penetrating trauma can be a cause of horner syndrome and interestingly heterochromia can be a sign of acquired (traumatic) Horner syndrome.
